The Program

The program aims to identify and develop Tasmanian Netball athletes who have the potential for selection in Netball Australia’s Elite Programs.

The program provides individual, small group and group coaching assistance to scholarship holders , access to sports science, strength and conditioning and Athlete Career and Education (ACE) services.  The TIS also provides individual feedback through use of technology and competition against other institutes and state academies.

Selection Criteria

Selection into the TIS Netball Program is performance based with selectors from Netball Australia, Netball Tasmania and the TIS netball coach comprising the panel.

Scholarship Period

1 July to 30 June.
