Coaching Scholarships

The Tasmanian Institute of Sport Coaching Centre (TCC) is an exciting initiative with the specific goal of increasing and developing coaches within Tasmania.

The purpose of the TCC is the delivery of high-quality coach development learning and leadership opportunities supporting Tasmanian coaches.

The TCC Coaching Scholarships assists successful candidates to further their development and progression within the High-Performance sporting landscape.

Provided Support:

  • Opportunities to enhance existing coaching knowledge, experience, and capability.
  • Opportunities for networking and mentoring.
  • Development and implementation of an individual coach development plan.
  • Advice on contemporary and current trends in coaching science and practice.
  • Access to intra and interstate activities including training camps and competitions, professional development and observation of live coaching opportunities.
  • Build skills to become a more confident coach in the high performance environment.
  • Access to key collaborative relationships and partners to create positive outcomes.

Scholarship Availability:

Scholarships are provided for a 12-month period, applications for the 2023-24 Scholarships have closed.
