Expression of Interest - TIS Physiotherapy Coordinator (Applications Closed)

The Tasmanian Institute of Sport are seeking expressions of interest for the position of TIS Physiotherapy Coordinator.

In July 2021, the TIS formalised the Sports Medicine Network and engaged a Chief Medical Officer, Dr Steve Reid and a Physiotherapy Coordinator, Kellie Wilkie.

Over the last few months this network has been reviewed to ensure that best athlete management services are provided amongst an inter-disciplinary team where Medicine and Physiotherapy continue to have valuable input. As an outcome, there will be a small restructure to allow the network to continue to deliver athlete focused and coach supported care where injury prevention and performance optimisation continue to be prioritised.

The restructure involves an opportunity for a new Physiotherapy Coordinator to step into the role that Kellie Wilkie will be vacating as of 30 June.  The requirements of this position are in line with the National Institute of Sport Network (NIN) and National Sporting Organisation (NSO) requirements for equivalent positions. The role will be supported by Sports Medicine Management staff from within the TIS, the Chief Medical Officer and mentoring will be provided by the current Physiotherapy Coordinator, Kellie Wilkie.

Please take the time to consider this position and send your one page expression of interest addressing your ability to meet and fulfil the requirements via email to myself, on or before COB 3 June 2022.
