The Tasmanian Institute of Sport (TIS) has partnered with Paralympics Australia and the Australian Institute of Sport to implement a national approach to the identification and development of future Paralympic Athletes.
Objective:
Support Tasmanians with disabilities to enter sport and progress along the Paralympic Pathway.
Athlete Pathway:
Para Sport Sampling
The TIS are offering multi-sport come and try sessions, sampling a different Para Sport each month. Sessions are open to anyone with a disability who would like to sample the sport on offer.

Guides, Pilots and Ramp Operators
The TIS are also offering support to athletes or people interested in becoming a Guide, Pilot of Ramp Operator for athletes classified in Paralympic events.
